Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than twenty years. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a California native, Buss was raised in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a successful entrepreneur in the field of real estate and later was the owner of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. She felt abandoned emotionally when her parents separated in 1972. At the age of 19, she was employed in the family business. The team was later renamed her own Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. The position she held was President of Great Western Forum prior to being elected vice-president of the Lakers. Buss as well as her five sisters inherited his Lakers majority ownership following the death of Bussher father in 2013. Each sister had an equal voice. Her duties were assumed as president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion with the headquarters located within Los Angeles.
