April Ross

April Ross, a beach volleyball player in the US is part of a select set of females who've been awarded medals at several Olympics. Alix Klineman has become a brand new Olympian and is set to join her in Tokyo. Ross hopes to win her Olympic debut gold, but she's also hoping to win greater. It may well be that this is her only chance at winning, as she's 39 old. But she's convinced that winning the gold medal is at hand. Ross through NBC Boston, said that when the team performs consistently or well they could win a gold. It's also going to be a matter of chance. Ross born in 1982 and lived in Costa Mesa California with her siblings and parents, started playing athletics at Newport Harbor High school. Apart from playing in numerous sports, Ross also attended Newport Harbor High School. In addition to indoor volleyball, she played basketball and jogged track in her pre-college days. But she stood out in this sport. In her own biography her high school days, she was a volleyball player as an outside setter (middle blocker) and setter (outside blocker). In recognition of her accomplishments, she received the Gatorade Award for the National Player of 1999. In 2000, the Orange County Athlete of the Month award was also won by her in volleyball. Ross and Klineman have been performing their roles in 2017. The reality is that Ross was an important player in the world of beach volleyball before joining the duo. She has had the chance to win numerous events, and one was won by an iconic volleyball player. Jennifer Kessy coached her from 2007 through 2013. Kessy's teammate Ross, who won the world title with Kessy in 2009, was also an important player on the an international level. They were awarded a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) and Misty Maytreanor took home gold ahead of them. As fate would have it Ross became Walsh Jennings' new partner after May-Treanor's retirement. They were able to win the bronze medal in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross competed for USC Trojans throughout her college prior to becoming a professional. Her experience at USC was impressive. She was a All-American as well as Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 2000 as a young freshman. Her performance also assisted in helping the Trojans reach their first Final Four. She endured a great personal loss during her sophomore year, but was still successful in achieving the All-American title. In her last two seasons with the Trojans program, she coached the Trojans to winning a national title each year. She had established herself as an all-time great winning the 2003-04 Honda Sports Award as the nation's top female collegiate volleyball player. Ross was a student of the study of international relations in USC. Unfortunately, Ross mother Margie was not able to witness her daughter ascend to the very top of beach volleyball fame. Ross's mother died of breast cancer when she was in her sophomore year at USC. However, she continues to remember her deceased parent close and close. Margie remains a constant source of inspiration for her at and off the beaches.
